Jimex Corporation primary manufacturing facility in Hanoi, Vietnam is where the production process begins. Highly precise and heavy duty manufacturing equipment is operated by Jimex employees as they stamp, bend, and construct refrigeration cabinets (shells). Furthermore, at this facility, primary components are also manufactured, including refrigeration coils, door gaskets, and shelves with the best quality materials found anywhere in the world. The refrigeration shell is then palletized and packaged for containers bound for shipment to the ports of Oakland, California. Jimex headquarters in Hayward, California is the final assembly and quality control facility. Final component installation, assembly, and quality control run-tests are performed at Jimex headquarters on every Ascend® refrigeration product. Before any refrigeration equipment is packaged, it must pass extensive and rigorous tests. Furthermore, Jimex assembles all of its refrigeration equipment using US spec components that can be found at refrigeration supply stores nationwide. Therefore, due to this "hybrid" manufacturing process, Ascend® refrigeration units offer the best of both worlds; a high quality product at the best price. All of this equates to refrigeration equipment that is the highest in quality and value in the industry. |

Company History and Operation
Jimex first began manufacturing custom walk-in coolers for customers in the Bay Area in 1994, custom fabricating all panels and installing these units into any type of refrigeration application. The design and manufacturing of unique self-contained refrigeration systems was set into place in 1996. Jimex was able to fill a void in the foodservice industry by introducing the most energy-efficient and ergonomic commercial refrigeration systems in the market today. Jimex introduced ColdTech® refrigeration systems to the foodservice industry in 1998 and during the first year of sales, increased gross sales by 600%. Ever since, Jimex has been highly regarded as manufacturers of the most innovative and affordable units in the industry.
Jimex introduced the new line of Ascend® refrigeration equipment in January 2008, improving on the previous ColdTech® models. Ascend® refrigeration equipment include functional and aesthetic changes to fit the needs of the ever-changing foodservice operation. Ascend® refrigeration units are designed to be more durable and versatile than previous ColdTech® models.
Jimex headquarters in Hayward, California is the main assembly, quality control, and warehousing facility. This facility houses more than 1000 units at all times. All Ascend® refrigeration units are assembled using high quality, domestic spec, components at this facility. All units are carefully examined and tested to insure proper operation, using the best processing equipment and highly sophisticated data logging equipment. These units are then packaged and distributed throughout the world.
Jimex's manufacturing facility in Hanoi, Vietnam broke ground in September 2006. This state-of-the-art facility was built from the ground up and the 200,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility employees more than 200 employees and is located on 4 acres near the Hanoi International Airport. At this facility, all Ascend® refrigeration unit cabinets(shells) and Jimex stainless steel equipment is built using only the finest materials available anywhere.
